Meeting the householders and more press coverage in the Post

Kate and I experienced a familiar ripple of excitement last week when we had a small get together for our householders to meet us and each other and for those joining to find out more about Bristol Green Doors and what to expect at the weekend. It was obviously much smaller than the equivalent gathering last June when over 100 people came (it is 8 homes not 52 aftera all), but it was great to see them sharing stories, discussing their projects and making plans to meet up and learn more from each other. It was a really enjoyable and positive evening and thanks to all who came. Photographs by Sidz.

Our Insulation Celebration was covered in the Evening Post on Saturday. It focussed on one of our new householders Carlton from Windmill Hill. I thought it was a good piece. It didn't make his refurfurb sound too difficult which is always a concern and though the £30k total cost may make some people run, in the scheme of things this is great value.
