On 26-27 September 2015, Bristol Green Doors will give you the chance to get inside thirty-two of Bristol's greenest homes. From small DIY tweaks to enormous self-build projects, there's something to inspire all of us make our homes cheaper to heat and kinder to the environment. Here's just a snapshot of what to expect.
One of the world's first commercially available straw bale homes will open for Bristol Green Doors 2015. I met with owner, Finlay White, to have a look around and find out if straw could be a green solution to the housing crisis.
Bristol Green Doors is once again teaming up with SuperHomes to give you the chance to explore these four amazing low carbon homes, opening to the public during our September open homes event. SuperHomes are homes renovated to reduce carbon by at least 60%, so expect a wide range of measures and very knowledgable householders to answer all your retrofitting questions and encourage you on the way to your own green projects!
